Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, mineralogy and Ore Formation popup.description2 Object of study - heavy metals in the soil cover industrial and urban agglomerations Ukraine. Purpose - installation features distribution of heavy metals in soils cities of Ukraine of different landscape-geochemical zones experiencing anthropogenic load. Methods - total chemical analysis; atomic absorption analysis; emission spectral analysis; method mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma ICP-MS (on device Element-2, Germany). Results of the study complement the of ecological and geochemical assessment of soil covering cities of Ukraine different landscape-geochemical zones. Established that the content of cadmium in soils Pobuzke that are influenced by the steel industry, more than background indicators as well as the maximum allowable concentration. There is accumulation of significant concentrations of heavy metals and selenium directly next of industry and spread to the surrounding area of 10 km (Krasnoperekopsk). The selected area most technologically contaminated groundwater Kyiv compared with background values. Established under the influence of ferrous metallurgy in soils buffer zones formed technological association of heavy metals: Pb> Zn> Cu> Mn> Cr (Mariupol, Alchevsk, Dnipropetrovsk). Project results can be used by business entities and environmental organizations in determining the content of heavy metals in the soil industrial-urban agglomerations Ukraine.
