The object of study - mikrolaminates and multilayer composites such as copper-steel, austenitic steel-pearlite steel, aluminum-titanium, copper-titanium, aluminum-lead, steel-titanium-tungsten. Purpose - to establish fundamental scientific and technical basis for the development of technology and production of specific types of new advanced nanostructured multilayer and metal composites - mikrolaminates which show the dependence of their properties and functional characteristics of the thickness of the structural components. Research Methods - accumulative cyclic method of making composites, combining hot vacuum and cold atmospheric rolling; heat treatment; microstructural analysis; Mechanical testing, methods for studying electro-magnetic and radiation-protective properties of composites. The developed technology for the experimental strips of multilayer composites of different composition with a specific number of layers (per 1 mm total composite thickness) of from 5 to 5400 and a ratio of volume fractions of the various components. Dimensions and weights are strip: thickness - from 1 to 15 mm; width - 100 mm; height - 500 mm; volume - 300 cm3; weight - up to 5 kg. Shown experimentally determined data on mechanical, electrical, magnetic, radiation-protective properties of multilayer composites and mikrolaminates different types. Formulated according investigated properties and functional characteristics of the composites on the basic parameters of the internal architecture - form, and the volume fraction of the specific amount of the metal layers comprising the composite. It is shown that the mechanical, electrical and magnetic properties of mikrolaminates copper-steel system with a specific number of layers 102 over 10 - 20% higher than the properties of composites with few layers. The results of experimental studies of thermally activated evolution of structural and phase state transition zones in layered composites of austenitic and pearlite steels. Established that the radiation-protective properties of composites aluminum-lead system by 30-40% higher than that characteristic of aluminum. Experimentally proved the reality of dependence of the properties (including mechanical, electrical, magnetic and radiation protection) of large composite thickness of their constituents, which is typical of small film structures. This indicates the possibility of large-scale manifestation of composites also other nanostructured effects inherent to pinpoint film structures, or the degree of manifestation of this power will be significantly higher than in the film structure.
