The object of research was the method of chemical vapor deposition of diamond films for the detectors, detectors of ionizing radiation on the basis of diamond films. The purpose of report was the study the dependence of the electrical characteristics of diamond films of different thickness, the type and degree of diamond film texture perfection, manufacture of pilot detectors and study their characteristics. Method of research was an experimental study of the influence of the thickness, the type and degree of texture perfection on the electrical characteristics of diamond films and detectors made on their basis. It is shown that the position of the samples at the substrate holder influences on the diamond films thickness, the type of texture and its perfection, but the electrical characteristics of diamond films are not directly related to such changes. It was developed the processes of textured diamond films synthesis on two types of substrate with dimensions of 8 x 8 mm2 and 8 x 24 mm2 with a resistivity up to 8 x 1014 ohm cm. It was cleared up the cause of significant amount of damages of diamond coatings on silicon substrates during increase of coatings thickness. Removing the damaged surface layer of silicon substrates by chemical etching allowed to increase output of undamaged diamond coatings from 30-40% to 75%. It was developed the pilot technology of detectors manufacture based on polycrystalline diamond films. It was manufactured the pilot sample of packaged radiation-resistant detector for detecting the high-power fields of the electron and gamma radiation. It was performed a set of studies of electrophysical characteristics of such detector. It was measured the detector analog sensitivity in the fields of electron and gamma radiation at the 10 MeV accelerator. For precise measurement of the profile of the electron beam at the accelerator output it was designed and manufactured the multi-channel detector. It was studied its electrophysical characteristics. The detector was transferred to the Research Complex "Accelerator" for testing.
