Due to mathematical simulation a required accuracy of planned measurements in planned plasma experiments was estimated, and the correlation between inaccuracy of phase shift measurements of probing signals and an inaccuracy of plasma density profile. First experiments with the use of suggested method for measuring plasma density profile in Uragan-2M torsatron were performed. The results obtained are in a good agreement with the results of theoretical calculations. By comparing the results of calculations and preliminary experiments further steps of the system modernization were established which have to be realized in 2014 year.
