The aim of the research: development of recommendations concerning procedural and oraganizational pecularities of the "investigator-executive/expert department" interaction. The abovementioned aim was attained using philosophic, general and special scientific methods, paying special attention to dialectic research methods (the "abstract-specific" convergence, revealing the "general-specific-individual" and "integral-partial" correlation), formal logical methods of analysis and design, comparative and formal juridicial methods. The research process has resulted in the following theoretical and practical outcomes: the most effective forms and types of the "investigator-executive/expert department" interaction during the initial stage of the pre-trial-investigation are defined; pecularities of the "investigator-executive/expert department" interaction during the initial stage of the pre-trial-investigation (crime scene examination and investigation) and interaction algorithms are outlined.
