The purpose of research - to develop a system to prevent suicides among employees and units of the Interior. Methods: the study and analysis of literature, system analysis and synthesis (for allocation of primary empirical information specific structural elements and synthesis of heterogeneous data for characteristic signs), socio-psychological methods (observation, expert evaluation, analysis of documents, legal acts, service and performance appraisal), psychodiagnostic methods, statistical analysis and other information received. Results: the current period in research work revealed the theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of suicidal behavior; carried out scientific and practical analysis of the problem of suicide in the internal affairs; planned to prepare a monograph and implementation of research results into practical activities of the Department staffing of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
