The aim is to analyze the state of contemporary migrations, development of economic and mathematical models of behavior of migrants. During the research we used a systematic and comprehensive approach. Methods: sociological methods, economic-mathematical methods, the method of expert estimates, method of regression analysis, the method of extrapolation. Data processing was carried out by use of computer technology and software. In carrying out the work: theoretically shown the nature and problems of migration research in Ukraine; the current migration situation in Ukraine and Khmelnitsky region in particular; factors that influence the willingness worker to go abroad and return to the Ukraine; the model of regression analysis for migration processes; practically tested theoretical results. Results of research: the analysis and structuring factors influencing migrants; proposed measures to improve the system of collection, processing and analysis of information on migration status. The study was conducted in cooperation with the Office of the State Migration Service of Ukraine in the Khmelnitsky region.
