Purpose – substantiation of parameters systems of warning a fire and control evacuation of people to guarantee the required performance of these systems. Investigated the relationship between the effectiveness of fire alarm systems and the ability of people to adequately respond to signals given by these systems. It was established that the effectiveness of warning people about the fire depends on how much signal, its informativeness, and preparedness of people to action in case of fire. Obtained numerical values characterizing the degree of influence of these factors on the effectiveness of warning systems and allow you to make a quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of designed and existing systems of warning people about the fire in the building. These results serve as a basis for the development of teaching materials and guidelines for the design and operation of warning systems and evacuation management.
