Process of sewage purification occurred more intensely because of the use of a new synthetic fiberfill that contributed to immobilization of microorganisms and destructors that were able to decompose pollutants (oil and nickel ions). The use of artificial filler which was designed at DNU for purification of water also reduced the concentration of oil and nickel ions in waste water that was filtered through the adsorbent.
