The pump must provide the following functions: - increas fuel pressure at the inlet of the servo-mechanisms of control of the tngine; - maintain the desired fuel pressure at the pump by controlling the fuel pressure signal. The pump shall consist of: - variable flow pumping unit; - assembly of control the pump flow; - shaft seal assembly. The pump must have fittings for connecting pipelines: - input fuel pump; - output of fuel pump in a line of high pressure; - the supply of fuel with a control pressure; - drainage fuel line drain; - exhaust leak fuel-oil mixture in the drainage system. The composition of the pump may be specified during the design phase.
