The possibility of their use for detection and identification of aircraft silhouettes on video images airports is analised. A "Method for automatic identification of visual objects by their silhouettes ," which is based on digital image filtering ( DF ), a binary digital image segmentation (BS ) techniques and one artificial neural network (ANN ) is developed . To reduce the errors of false alarm and false admission of the mentioned method the approach to automatic visual detection and identification of aircraft by their silhouettes , which is based on two ANN and DF combinations , BS and improved methods BS - halftone - binary segmentation is developed . To improve the process and means of filtering performance during DF developed a " method of digital image filtering by means of one-dimensional recursive filters" and "Method for determining the coefficients of recursive digital filters with infinite impulse response" are developed. Researched method for removing impulse noise. For hardware implementation of DF synthesized special processor block diagram of digital images filtering. Hardware-software visual airplane detection and identification in sight of videocamera microprocessor system is implemented.
