The aim of the paper is integrated, interdisciplinary study of this unique monumental complex, which features authentic Gate Church of the Medieval princely period, refectory church of the Cossack Hetmanate and the imperial architecture of the 19 - early 20 centuries. Also through the material component of cultural heritage study, the author tries to delve into the socio-historical perspective. Thus for the first time the given object is studied in the context of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve present tasks as the urban and church-religious complex "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra" component. The object of study is the former Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Bolnytski monastery cultural heritage. Artefacts, the architectural ensemble transformation, the process of the Bolnytski monastery functioning as the church-religious complex part are the subject. The concept of the "church-religious complex" allows studying former Bolnytski monastery as the ecclesiastical institution with the established administrative structure (internal hierarchy) and, at the same time, as a social group.
