During work performance the following tasks have consistently been fulfilled: the research results from the literature sources have been analyzed and summarized, the regulations on the use of modified bitumen both abroad and in Ukraine were studied; the requirements to physical and technical parameters of bitumen to improve the quality of the upper layers of pavement bitumen modified by adhesives, polymers and synthetic waxes and for road bitumen emulsions have been defined; the requirements and rules to perform work on the preparation and application of modified bitumen have been developed; the regulations under specification have been developed, agreed and approved in the prescribed manner.
