The aim of the study - to develop new methods of teaching chemistry at secondary and higher educational institutions of Ukraine and detection the efficiency of their implementation. Theoretical and practical results: -methods of teaching of chemistry at secondary and higher educational institutions of Ukraine had been theoretically analyzed and proved; -the new approaches to teaching of certain subjects in chemistry in secondary school have been proved experimentally; -the new methods of teaching of chemical disciplines to biology students have been developed; -the features of the organization and conducting classes in high school for students from different educational levels have been studied; -bachelor's and master's theses on the topic have been prepared and successfully defended. The novelty of the study: -the efficiency of different organizational forms and methods of chemistry teaching in secondary and higher school had been defined for the first time and theoretically proved; -the effectiveness of the introduction of new methods of teaching of the specific topics of school chemistry course, namely aggregated didactic units, technology of the problem-based learning had been clarified theoretically grounded and experimentally confirmed; -the complex set of teaching materials for chemical disciplines of different training areas including presentations and problem-based learning content has been justified The effectiveness of implementation is evidenced by the increase of learning chemical knowledge of pupils of secondary schools and university students.
