The aim of the research: history of integration and place of Ukraine in European civilization. In 2011 - 2014 the results of the research were reported at International and All-Ukraine conferences in Ukraine (Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Nizhyn, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, and abroad (Poland, Russia). 6 monographs, 2 parts of archival documents, 25 text-books approved by the Ministry of Education and Science and 9 textbooks without approval, 100 articles in specialized journals and conference papers including 20 foreign articles were published. The results of the research work are also shown by the fact that 1 Doctor of Science and 2 PhD theses were successfully defended. Successful were and still are joint projects with polish researchers: joint conferences, open lectures, publications, exhibitions of archival documents. The academic staff, using the results of the research work, consulted and advised pupils-members of Junior Academy of Science, conducted methodical seminars for school history teachers, involved pupils into archeological expedition "Trypoli Culture". Selected results of the research were introduced into the work of National Dendrological Park "Sofiyivka", State Historic-Cultural Architectural Reserve "Stara Uman" and State Historic-Cultural Reserve "Trypoli Culture".
