Research methods were as follows: Koch's pour plate method, colony-formation by the "carrier-cell" complexes, study of biological properties of microorganisms and cell cultures, supravital staining. Scientific equipment: programmed freezer for bioobjects, freeze-drying device, biological microscope, low temperature chamber. The dependency of the integrity of immobilized on/in carrier microorganisms on the preservation media composition under cryopreservation has been established. The immobilization and cryopreservation were demonstrated not to affect specific biological properties of micoorganisms. There has been experimentally substantiated the technology of substitution of embryonic serum for methyl cellulose within the preservation media for cell cultures.
