The study object: the functional state of cell cultures and donor blood leukocytes subjected to low temperature exposure, after cultivation or incubation in media containing the low-molecular fraction. Methods: ultrafiltration, biochemical, spectrophotometric, immunologic, chemiluminescent methods, light microscopy. Results: The composition of the cord blood low-molecular fraction was investigated, and mechanisms of its action as a part of rehabilitating media on the functional state of cell cultures of donor blood leukocytes after low-temperature storage were determined. Addition of the fraction to rehabilitating media was demonstrated to increase the energetic state of donor blood leukocytes after cryopreservation with DMAc. Innovations, efficiency of implementation: The results can be used for development of rehabilitative media containing the low-molecular fraction below 5 kDa aimed at the restoration of phagocytic activity and stimulation of the energy potential of donor blood leukocytes and cell cultures after low temperature storage.
