Research aim was to study cryodestruction and cryoprotection of immobilized cells on / in the carriers and preservation of their biological properties after low temperature storage. Methods: microbiological, cultural, biochemical, biophysical, light, fluorescent and electron microscopy, modeling of pathological states of experimental animals. Equipment: fluorescent and scanning electron microscopes, spectrophotometers, flow cytometer, a programable freezer of bioobjects "Cryoson BV-6" (Germany), equipment for lyophilization. Experimentally proved cryopreservation modes of research object - immobilized microorganisms on / in carriers. Established that immobilization on / in carriers and low temperature storage do not cause significant changes in the biological properties of microorganisms. Immobilized probiotics onto sorbents exhibit more pronounced therapeutic effect during the correction of experimental dysbiosis. It is shown that immobilization in polysaccharide gels protects internal structure and the MTC and the cell wall of yeast cells against cryodamages. It was found that after lyophilization in the media with the addition of sodium alginate gel beads and bifidobacteria and lactobacilli retain high viability and biological properties. The cryopreservation technology of cell cultures in medium without serum with the addition of DMSO gel and MC. The results will be used in future studies to create immobilized immunological agents, methods of long-term storage.
