The work aims to elaborate the mathematical model of the distribution of tensions at heavy-duty gearwheels using traditional and progressive technologies of chemical heat-treatment. As a result of the work, we have created mathematical model of the redistribution of tensions of the crown of the heavy-duty gearwheel reducer of gas turbine engines (GTE); new mark of the steel for the gearwheel reducer of gas turbine engines and technology of the chemical heat-treatment using the effect of secondary hardening, paraplasma discharge and elaborated differential dilatometer. The mathematical model with the usage of R-functions has been first elaborated; the required properties of materials of gearwheels have been calculated; the chemical composition of new steel 09Х3НМ3ФБч with rational structure which suits the requirements of calculations has been found. New energy-efficient workflow, which provides increasing of physical and mechanical and operational properties of core and surface layer of prongs of heavy-duty gearwheel reducer of gas turbine engines (GTE), has been created. The results of scientific work will be used in the prospective elaborations of the State Enterprise "Ivchenko-Progress" and Public Joint Stock Company "Motor-Sich"; they can be used at the other enterprises of the engineering and metallurgical spheres of Ukraine. After the results of scientific work will have been implemented, we would expect the increase of reliability and competitiveness of gas turbine engines.
