The object of research - the process of friction and wear of the working parts of the extruder for processing grain impurities minerals. The aim of the work there is an increased wear resistance and durability of extruders in the processing of grain impurities minerals. Research Methods: Comparative experimental study of wear resistance of samples from different steels with different technologies of surface hardening, different structures of the material in the model environment on special abrasive friction machines that simulate the operating conditions of the extruder. Properties of the surface layers of friction pairs was determined using metallographic and X-ray diffraction studies of the samples using a PMT-3, MIM-10, DRON-3M. First established patterns of wear of surface layers with gradient coatings and metastable phases in the structure of the material in environment abrasive model solution. It has been shown that the presence of metastable phases, in particular of residual austenite in gradient coatings significantly affect the durability of the abrasive material in the wear, and it is possible to optimize the content of the criterion of maximum wear resistance. First obtained theoretical and experimental dependences for calculation of wear resistance and durability of coatings with gradient metastable structures at abrasive wear. The practical significance of the results. The recommendations for improving the performance of extruders for the processing of feed grain with impurities minerals, which are introduced at JSC "Thermoplastic" (Khmelnitsky) and SPE "Vidnova" (Khmelnytsky). This provided an increase in wear resistance and durability of the extruder by 1.6-1.8 times, reduced costs for repairs up to 30 %. The research results can be used in agricultural and machine-building enterprises Product Description popup.authors
