Permeability coefficients of pure Ne, He, Kr, Xe were determined on the experimental unit with the application of manometric method on polysulfone membranes. A key figure in this process is the recovery of target components (neon and helium) as well as concentration of nitrogen impurity in the production stream. Presented calculations of neon helium mixture enrichment process on the membrane in a wide range of conditions. The dependence neon-helium mixture extraction degree from nitrogen impurity concentration at different recycle ratios is obtained. It is shown that the inclusion of a membrane separation module prior cryogenic adsorber reduces the concentration of neon in a stream from 20% to about 5%, thus allowing to increase the time of protective action. Technological schemes which include two-stage membrane systems were developed for the production of crude helium mixture on low capacity natural gas liquefaction plant.
