The essence of the methodological approaches to the assessment social and cultural consequences of migration is given. The nature of their formation positions of determinism and the relationship with the processes of development and modernization is investigated. Demographic reproducible trends of Ukraine in the light of global migration movements with the justification of territorial asymmetry development in ethno-structural and linguistic contexts are analyzed. Regional specificity of demographical reproduction with the calculation demographic losses due to migration processes is identified. The model of the migration profile of the region as the basis for information security evaluation social and cultural consequences of migration is proposed. The push and pull factors of influence on the processes of integration of migrants in the host society are analyzed, as well as the importance of self-organization of migrants for the sake of preservation of ethnic and cultural identity is shown. Guidelines for conducting of monitoring of migration processes in the system of strategic goals of modernization and development of the region in the context of the protection of internally displaced persons are designed. A typology of models of immigrant integration in the host society is carried out, the specificity of educational migration is found and the necessity of the formation of the market of migration services is revealed. On this basis it is proposed to target the priorities of the regional program for the integration of migrants in the host society.
