Methods of research are analysis of spatial and temporal distribution of drought in Ukraine. Results and novelty. Two objective measures of drought - Palmer Drought Index Intensity and Standardized Precipitation and Evapotranspiration Index are selected and calculated for the territory of Ukraine. Field of use is climatology, hydrology, protection of the environment. Significance of the research and conclusions. The results of the research provide an opportunity to objectively describe the space-time distribution of droughts in Ukraine during the modern era of climate.
