Influence of gender identity on the adolescents' health formation. The Objective. To develop the gender-oriented approaches to the formation of healthy behavior, based on the analysis of gender-specific health status and lifestyle of modern adolescents. Results. It is determined that androgynous type of gender identity prevails in all age groups of the adolescents and regardless from type of the school and its education profile. It is shown the direct and the indirect (through the lifestyle) influence of the gender on the health. The hypothesis of the importance of gender identity for the formation of reproductive settings for the youth has been confirmed. The results allowed us to substantiate the scientifically justified approaches of the using of gender analysis in health care and to improve the programs aimed at disease prevention and health promotion of children and youth, conscientious attitude to their own health and healthy lifestyle. The survey results will be used in the field of public health and education in the planning of measures designed to promote health, to promote healthy lifestyles, to prevent the dissemination of bad habits, to stop the depopulation processes in our country.
