It is necessary to assess the rate and degree of aggregation of NT systems, which are developed based on new materials and to optimize their composition. Investigation of properties of nanotube aggregates also allow us to estimate the limit the possibilities and limitations of composites. Developed a set of complementary experimental methods for the characterization of liquid crystal nanocomposites containing nematic and cholesteric mixture as a matrix and dispersed therein carbon nanotubes as a dopant. Methods include, differential scanning calorimetry, electrical studies (dielectric spectroscopy, conductivity), optical microscopy, as well as a number of methods of singular optics. For each of the liquid crystal composition defined parameters nanomaterial phase transitions assesses homogeneity and phase states generated by optical transparency, electrical conductivity and permittivity as a function of applied electric field (for the electrooptical cells, capacitors, and other controlled vessel micro- and optoelectronic devices), and stability of these characteristics over time. The latter is especially important, since the main problem in creating such an inclination nanotube nanomaterial to aggregation - an optimal composition of the liquid crystal material should provide the combination of mutually contradictory requirements (transparency, sensitivity to an electric field, etc., in combination with a high temporal stability). Advantages: developed methods for the characterization is relatively simple and does not require special sophisticated equipment; definition.
