Purpose of work: To identify the problem issues in the field of social services for children with disabilities and to justify the necessary directions and mechanisms of the financial modernization and organization of these services. Methods of research: In researches were used dialectical and empirical methods, methods of analysis and synthesis, classification, comparison, terminological analysis method, scientific abstraction, economic and mathematical methods. Results and their newness. Scientific novelty of performed scientific-research work lies in justification proposals for improving funding mechanisms, development of organizational and economic mechanisms of providing social services to children with disabilities. The practical significance lies in the possibility of use recommendations developed considering foreign experience for improving the organization and financing providing social services for children with disabilities in modern social-economic conditions. Field of application: results of scientific research can be used by Finance Ministry of Ukraine in planning health care expenditures.
