A research object - seasonal demand for hotel and travel services in modern conditions in the regional market Ukrainian Carpathians. An aim of research work - to develop scientific, methodological and practical recommenda-tions for the selection and improvement of methods and approaches for forecasting seasonal demand by a retrospec-tive study of demand for hotel and travel services of the model company in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Methods: A set of general and specific methods and tools of knowledge: comparison, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduc-tion, graphic, settlement, modeling, formalization were used. Basic scientific job: The reasons for seasonal fluctua-tions of demand for economic goods, means their evaluation were overviewed. The methods of forecasting the de-mand for goods and services were evaluated. The analysis of the market of hotel and tourism services in the world and Ukraine was made. Determinants of demand for hotel and travel benefits are identificated. The seasonal fluctua-tions of demand for hospitality in basic hotel and tourist complex in the Ukrainian Carpathians are estimated and its forecasting with the methods ARIMA and exponential smoothing are made. The recommendations on smoothing seasonal fluctuations in demand for hotel and travel services are given. The results can be used in the practice of management of hotel and tourist complexes, for research and educational process. Introduction of research products al-lows to forecast of demand for hotel and tourist complexes in Ukrainian Carpathians, to take measures for smoothing of seasonal fluctuations of demand and to increase the level of profitability of hotel and tourism enterprises.
