Gorky popup.description2 Purpose - to develop thesystem of rehabilitation of patients with a first psychotic episode (FPE) on the basis of studying the clinical features of the disease, psychological characteristics of patients and mechanisms of brain activity. Methods: clinical and anamnestic, clinical and psychopathological, psychodiagnostic, neurophysiological, socio-psychological methods of mathematical processing of results and constructing multivariate mathematical models. The object of study: FPE in patients with schizophrenia. Subject of research: concept and system existentially-personal rehabilitation; clinical, psychological and existential-personal recovery patterns of social functioning in patients with FPE, the prediction model of clinical and functional outcomes. Scientific and theoretical novelty of the research. On the basis of comprehensive studies there was received data of clinical FPE structure; founded significant prognostic factors and developed a multifactor mathematical model predicting the outcomes of FPE for a period of 0.5 years, 1 year and 2 years. Defined electrophysiological markers, reflecting the characteristics of clinical symptoms and cognitive impairment in patients with FPE by the method of recording evoked potentials. There was developed and evaluated the effectiveness of existential-personal rehabilitation. The practical significance of the study results. The iImplementation of proposed developments in the practice is to solve important issues - improving outcomes and restore social functioning of patients with schizophrenia, which is reflected in the improvement of medical (improving the quality of remission and increase its duration, reducing the number of relapses of psychosis in the first years after the attack and the frequency index hospitalization), social (improved social functioning in various spheres of life, reduced disability) and personal (improving the quality of life) indicators. After 2 years in the integrated treatment group a favorable outcome of the disease was observed in 73.0%, and in the standard treatment group - in 35.7% of patients.
