For the first time in 30 hypertensive young patients (under 35) with different category of CV risk determined changes of the vascular wall stiffness and their properties according to risk factors of cardiovascular complications using suprasystolic arteriography; negative impact of obesity and total cholesterol on stiffness of the vascular wall. It was established that the most negative impact on the parameters of the elastic properties of the vascular wall according to data of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (BP) provide increasing diastolic blood pressure and time of diastolic hypertension especially during the day; value of systolic blood pressure during at the day time and in the early morning hours, the heart rate at night. It was determined increasing of central blood pressure level and pulse wave extension associated with an increasing of the left ventricular mass index. It's indicate unity of the pathophysiological mechanisms in development of subclinical heart damage and vascular wall at patients with essential hypertension.
