The assessment indicators of methan quantity, which permit to evaluate methan mass, cumulated in the cylindrical layer of the elastic and plastic layer are derived. A modified method of the boundary form perturbation, which gives the first order eccentricity solution for the tasks devoted to the scattering of geoacoustic waves in the cavities of elliptic cylinder form, is proposed. Geomechanical condition of coal massif with the cavities and cracks, experimental methods of geoacoustic sensing of heterogeneities in the geological environments and possibility of geoacoustical predictions of methan by example of closed mines models are researched.
