Aim - establish the general regularities of the processes proceeding on the oxide electrocatalysts with oxygen-containing radicals’ participation. Research methods - stationary and cyclic voltammetry, the impedance spectroscopy, rotating disk electrode, photocolorimetry, ultraviolet vision spectrophotometry, high performance liquid and gas chromatography, gravimetry. It has been shown that the electrocatalytic activity of composite materials lead dioxide - valve metal oxide (TiO2, ZrO2) depends on the nature and content of the latter in the composite. Using of PbO2–TiO2 materials allows increasing doubly the rate of electrochemical oxidation of methyl tert-butyl ether with the possibility of further intensification process through the use of ultraviolet irradiation. It has been revealed that the current efficiency of Cr(VI) on the platinized titanium decreases with the growth of temperature treatment of the material and the anode current density. It has been established that the current efficiency of Cr(VI) grows as with the increasing of platinum amount on the anode surface, as with the growth of temperature treatment of Ebonex®/Pt anodes.
