Aim: To examine changes in the level and structure of non-tumor incidence in 1988-2012, features of psychoneurological status of the Chornobyl survivors with regard to radiation dose, sex and age (on the data of SRU, CER and random neuropsychiatric examinations). Methods: epidemiological, clinical, mathematical-and-statistical. Results. Descriptive epidemiological studies on non-tumor incidence for the period 1988-2012 have been conducted on the cohorts of clean-up workers (68145 people according to SRU and 3600 - according to CER), evacuees (7600 people according to SRU and 5200 - according to CER), inhabitants of contaminated areas (98000 people according to SRU). Circulatory, digestive, respiratory, urogenital and endocrine diseases make the main contribution to the structure of non-tumor incidence. For each cohort rates were defined and differences in the level and structure of incidence were estimated with regard to age at the time of exposure (younger 18, 18-39, 40-60 years old), radiation dose, sex and time since exposure (for five-year periods). For some non-tumor diseases statistically significantly higher incidence rate was revealed in patients with external whole-body doses in the range 0.05-0.99 Gy as compared to those exposed to doses less than 0.05 Gy. According to random clinical examination 2013-2014 peculiarities of the state of mind, behavior and nervous system in clean-up workers and evacuees were determined with consideration for concomitant non-tumor disease, age, education, alcohol abuse, radiation dose and psychosocial factors. Mental disorders as a result of injury and brain dysfunction or due to physical illness are the most prevalent among survivors. According to special random questionnaire and descriptive analysis of psychosocial factors there were presented preliminary findings on factors contributing to chronic psychosocial stress in the Chornobyl survivors. Implementation: 6 scientific works were published and 3 were prepared for publication, information sheet, method recommendations (draft). Fields of application: epidemiology, hygiene, public health, clinical radiobiology, psychiatry and neurology, clinical psychology. Product Description popup.authors Антипчук К.Ю. Бєляєв Ю.М.
