Objects of research: zoological collections of Institute of zoology NASU, types of beetles, caraboids beetles, dark-beetles, tabanoids flies, anthropogenic landscapes, arthropods of inclutions of Rovno's amber: Objective to study: preservation and control zoological collections, registration of type's material, investigation of Cicindelidae, Carabidae, Tenebrionidae and Asiliidae of anthropogenic landscapes of Ukraine, studying of inclutions of arthropods of Rovno's amber. Method of study: general zoological, work with collections and literature, field's and laboratoral investigations. Key Results: annual characteristic of main zoological collections of institute (until 2015), especially their control, using and preservation is given. There are 328 collections in institute now. They consist more than 47000 species from 9 phyles, 25 classes, 100 orders and 800 families. Type's material number near 23 500 ex. from 5200 species (1800 ex. are holotypes). The collection of Chrysididae is inventoried (160 species, 80 genera). The scientifical funds of institue in 2012-14 on 163270 ex. of animal and 13 new collections are supplemented. Near 100 specialists from 20 countries and 110 ukranian scientists (20 institutions) are worked in institute of zoology. Catalogue of types of Coleoptera is prepared for print (420 specimen, near 150 taxa). Taxonomical structure and geographical distribution od Caraboidea of anthropogenic landscapes of Ukraine (near 300 species), Tenebrionidae (80) and Asiliidae (more than 80 species) are analyzed. Some questions of geographical origin of invertabrates from Rovno's amber are disscused. Near 50 new species and 20 genera of invertabrates in Rovno's amber are described. The scientists of department published 81 articles for the last 3 years.
