Aim - the improving of the efficiency and standardization of methods of laboratory diagnostics of tuberculosis by developing an algorithm of geno-phenotypic diagnostics of tuberculosis with early detection of drug resistance of mycobacteria to antimycobacterial drugs. An algorithm for diagnosis of drug-resistant tuberculosis with complex using genotypes and phenotypic methods in the bacterial laboratories of tuberculosis institutions of Ukraine was working out, which contributes to the early detection of patients, including those with small pulmonary TB forms. A system of quality assurance of bacteriological examination in the institutions was created that carry out microbiological diagnosis of tuberculosis at different levels of health care provision, which establishes the basic approaches to the creation, operation and management of the quality of bacteriological examinations to diagnose tuberculosis, aimed to an improving of the effectiveness of diagnostic and treatment process, reducing unnecessary costs and risks for patients, reducing morbidity and mortality, increased life expectancy of the population of Ukraine. "Criteria" of M. tuberculosis resistance to levofloxacin (2,0 mcg/ml) and linezolid (1,0 mcg/ml) were established, which provided standardization and expanded the range of products in the determination of drug resistance in system BACTEC MGIT 960.
