Description
Peculiarities of managerial competencies forming and their using by high school teachers to optimize educational process are grounded. The leading idea of the developed conception is that modern teacher activities are very similar to administrative activity and can give maximum results when using not only traditional educational technologies, but also management tools. Scientific approaches of pedagogy and management have significant conceptual differences in planes of: openness - closeness, linearity - nonlinearity, organization - self-organization and others. And so - recognizing the high level of Ukrainian education - to ensure greater relevance and effectiveness of teaching, to promote innovations it would be extremely useful to synthesize the achievements of both disciplines. The essence, content and types (structure) of a teacher managerial competencies are revealed - in particular, competencies of: planning, organizing, stimulating, coordinating, controlling-and-evaluating, as well as social-communicative, record keeping, information-analytic, competences of decision-making and self-management. Sufficient level of these competences allows teacher not only to improve the efficiency of students teaching, but also to manage conflicts in an educational environment, to participate in the management of the institution, in expert groups, to influence on processes of management education sector as a whole.
