The essayist, scientific, journalistic, historical, literary, biographical, and textual peculiarities of diaspora scholars’ explorative outlook have been analyzed. The genetically-typological relations of Ukrainian artistic writing to Shevchenko’s creations have been traced through the phenomenon of intertextual interaction. The ideological and methodological-aesthetic differences in readings of Shevchenko’s heritage in Ukraine and abroad has been analyzed through such positions as “mainland”, “diaspora”. The key points of controversy, controversial problems, unresolved issues in literary and artistic publications of the Ukrainian diaspora have been established.
