Objective - calculated and experimental researches, to develop rather simple in manufacture and rather effective construction of the diffuser device by the result, that will allow to get transonic speeds using the compressor equipment of small power for the experimental determination of aerodynamic characteristics annular duct on the local model. Research methods are based on classic aerodynamic experiment, that is conducted on the generally accepted method and fundamental bases of gas dynamics, the theory of turbomachines and numeric mathematic methods, in particular, methods of non-linear programming. The method of preparatory design axisradial diffuser on the basis of method of an assessment of inner losses on integral parameters of flow is developed. Construction is developed and the diffuser device is made. Calculated and experimental researches of this device are executed, that allowed to define optimum position of mobile element of radial diffuser depending on brake pressure before diffuser device.
