The aim of development - creation of new compositions of antioxidants, binders and a number of refractory materials on the base of compositions of MeO (MgO, CaO, NiO) - Al2O3 - SiC - C system and the development of resource and energy saving advanced technologies of high quality refractory materials which are to resistant oxidation and corrosion deterioration, test samples making and developed materials testing under conditions of their environment operation. Research methods - fundamental laws of equilibrium thermodynamics, geometrical and topological constructions, statistical calculations and modern methods of physical and chemical analysis (thermogravimetry, X-ray diffraction, petrographic studies). Novelty of the results - theoretical foundations of high-quality refractory composite materials obtaining are developed by way of new thermodynamic calculations and experimental data concerning materials obtaining by new methods. By using a thermodynamic analysis of the system (MgO, CaO, NiO) - Al2O3 - C conditions for the protection from materials oxidation are developed at addition of Ni in the organic-inorganic complex (-CH3) - (SiO2)n, which contributes to the manifestation of the optimum properties of an antioxidant, dense composite materials and cements for special purposes are created, including the use of chemical production waste Ukraine. It's provided the use of developed magnesia refractories wastes for magnesia flux for melting steel obtaining. The results of research - systematization of new scientific knowledge concerning the relationship "composition - dispersion - technological parameters - structure - properties" of refractory composite materials allowed to formulate the basic principles of designing new materials on base of compositions of MeO (MgO, CaO, NiO) - Al2O3 - SiC - C system and to determine the technological features of effective use of sol-gel process elements and waste products of the manufacture of composite refractory materials for resource-saving technologies due to reinforcing nanoparticles.
