Purpose - to establish the concept of a national acoustic environment monitoring for solving urgent problems of objective information support of the government on the state of the acoustic environment in the regions of Ukraine. Research methods - classical and modern methods of the theory of acoustics, aerodynamics and hydrodynamics theory, theory of measurement, theory of optimal reception, antenna theory, communication theory, decision theory, the theory of spectral analysis, probability theory and mathematical statistics. Actively used simulation methods and methods of computational aerodynamics. First created the concept of a national acoustic environment monitoring, organizational and technical foundations for construction of an acoustic environment monitoring system. First developed principles of a national acoustic environment monitoring system, information model of the system operational center and simulation models of the processes: data collection and processing of acoustic signals in the measuring complex; data collection and transmission for measurement complex of acoustic environment monitoring system; making expert decisions on the acoustic environment. First proposed the use of modern technology of computational aero- and hydrodynamics for three-dimensional modeling of the flow-structure interaction under unsteady flow and a curved structure for the analysis of complex acoustic fields when selecting a position of measuring compex of acoustic environment monitoring system on the ground. The results of studies correspond to the world level of acoustics and acoustic ecology.
