Purpose of research work is rational method of oils separation from plants of pine family, investigation of their physicochemical characteristics and properties. Research methods: determination of physicochemical characteristics according to GOST 24027.0-80 and determination of essential oil's component composition by means of chromatography-mass spectrometry method.The new data about physicochemical characteristics of essential oils and component composition of Pinaceae sylvestris, Pinaceae mugo Turra, Pinaceae pumila Regel, Pinaceae strobus were obtained. It is established that essential oil of pine needle is the most appropriate raw material for production of new makeup preparations and pharmaceuticals. It is established that using of the method of exhausting hydrodistillation from air-dried material, essential oil can be obtained. This oil satisfy the requirements to the feedstock for producing makeup preparations and pharmaceuticals.
