The aim - to study and improvement of methods for evaluating tools to ensure financial stability in Ukraine. In the process received a number of results that have scientific value, obtained the further development of the definition of financial soundness indicators; analysis of international experience in the formation of the statement of financial stability; analysis models and methods of stress testing financial stability of the banking sector; developed an index approach to assessing financial conditions in the system analysis and monitoring of financial stability; took further development of scientific and methodical approach to phased assessment tools to ensure financial stability; improved scientific and methodical approach to assess the solvency and financial stability of insurance companies, pension funds; developed proposals for the creation of the National Council for financial stability; were further developed classification crisis management activities of the banking system.
