Aim of the study - investigation of peculiarities of radionuclides redistribution in forest biogeocenoses, research regularities of 137Cs and 90Sr migration on forest-typological basis in forest ecosystems and radionuclides accumulation in forestry production with the purpose of updating of "Recommendation on carrying out of forestry in conditions of radioactive contamination". Research methods - methods of comparative ecology, forest inventory, forest science, forestry, forest protection, hunting, geobotany, radioecology and radiology. Sampling and spectrometric analysis - by the standard method. Research were aimed at monitoring of 137Cs and 90Sr accumulation by the main tree species of the region; the 137Cs accumulation of wild berry and medicinal plants on permanent experimental plots; vertical redistribution of radionuclide in the soils; detailed study of 137Cs distribution in components of forest-bog ecosystems of Ukrainian Polessye. The modern dynamic performance 137Cs migration in forest ecosystems based on forest typology was studied. The parameters of accumulation of radionuclides in timber and other forestry feedstocks were studied and significantly updated for safe harvesting of different types of forest raw materials in different site conditions. Novelty - recommendations are updated to the current conditions of forest management in conditions of radioactive contamination.
