Object of research - patients with chronic somatic diseases with persistent herpesvirus infection. Methods of research - immunology, virology, molecular biology, klinichniko, laboratory and statistical (processing of experimental studies). Results and novelty - According to the results of the research confirmed patoganetichny connection persistence representatives of the family Herpesviridae and immunological disorders in diseases of the eye and the heart in the etiopathogenesis of which the main element is the virus-induced vascular damage, as well as inflammatory and hyperproliferative diseases of the pelvic organs, and type 1 diabetes and autoimmune thyroiditis. Pathogenic strain, is the presence of several antigens of herpes viruses in the body of the patient is also the basis for the formation of the immunological homeostasis disorders. The data obtained in 65.8% of patients with uveitis, 61.4% of patients with clinical manifestations of coronary atherosclerosis, 87.9% of patients with inflammatory and hyperproliferative diseases of the pelvic organs, 90% of patients with autoimmune thyroiditis and 69.5% of patients with insulin-dependent diabetes type 1 diabetes revealed the persistence of two or more members of the Herpesviridae in the body. This phenomenon is accompanied by the formation of immunological disorders with overproduction of proinflammatory cytokines IL1, IL6, TNF against the background of unchanged or decreased production of anti-inflammatory cytokines IL4, IL10. The calculation of the integral index of the cytokine has diagnostic and prognostic value in assessing the dysfunction of the immunological status and can be used including the preclinical stages of disease. Use as additional diagnostic criteria for viral load and pathogenetic cytokine integral index improves the efficiency of the diagnosis of somatic diseases, which have a tendency to chronic course against the backdrop of social importance of herpesvirus infections through personalized diagnosis and therapy based on the identification of molecular mechanisms of interaction between the human body and viral pathogens.
