The aim of the research is to develop theoretical principles, methodological foundations and practical recommendations for state coordination of institutional change. The object of study is the process of state coordination of institutional changes in the national economy. The object of the study is theoretical, methodological and practical basis for state coordination of institutional change. Theory and methods of study are based on the fundamental principles of modern economic theories. Scientific novelty lies in defining the institutional mechanism of regulation of state property, the essence of which is systematically organized interaction legitimacy of basic institutions of the national economy; improvement of methods for analysis of regulatory government action in state property of Ukraine with the definition of the integral indicator of legitimacy, by which possibility to quantitatively measure of the level of legitimacy of the institutional environment of the country arises; grounding mechanism for coordinating joint relationship that combines the structural and functional components of economic and institutional; development of scientific and methodological foundations for improving the system of state regulation of the national economy, based on the implementation in practice of public administration sector approach; systematization of factors that affect the development of the national joint-stock sector as a whole and its individual components; definition of measures of economic policy aimed at developing real and financial sector; of the theoretical principles of economic, social and environmental content of the concept of sustainable development; development of modern theoretical and methodological concept of resource support of the national economy of Ukraine; using modern synthesis of institutional theories to interpret the essence of cooperatives and their classification in institutional coordinates of Ukraine. Some scientific research results are reflected in practice and are used in the educational process in preparing and teaching courses on "State Regulation of Economy", "national economy", "Fundamentals of economic theory" and "Macroeconomics" for students Ukoopspilka "Poltava University of Economics and Trade".
