Performed studies showed possibility in principle of simultaneous production of hydrogen at the cathode and hydrogen peroxide (commercially promising product) on the anodes during the decomposition of water by electrolysis of the alkaline solution. To implement this process modern electrode materials made of carbon-based fibers and the proton-conducting polymer membrane were tested. The kinetics of anodic processes on these electrode materials was investigated.
