Diagnostics of the state of readiness of students to intercultural cooperation was held in higher education institutions of Ukraine; was carried out an analysis of the international activities of the university; revealed the dependence of the intensification of the international activities of the university from students' readiness for intercultural interaction, their level of cross-cultural competence. Created model of the application of the technology of formation of cross-cultural competence of students revealed reasonable prospects for development of the international activities of the university on the basis of introduction of the conceptual model.
