The object of research: natural stones (ornamental stones and other purposes under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 12.12.94 № 827, which can be used as decoration materials); regulations laws of Ukraine Research methods: analysis and desk research of natural stones, systematization and comparison of legal acts and collected from the literature (bibliographic data, reports, geological exploration) and electronic sources (Internet) information regarding natural stones Results: proposals for settlement of legal acts regulating mining to introduce prospecting extraction of natural stones. Improvement of legal regulation in the mining, processing and trading operations with natural stones including amber, will help create new jobs and revenue increase additional revenue to the state budget of subsoil use; for decorative (including other natural stones used as decoration) that it is expedient to produce prospecting method. The results of this research work will be used in the SGCU Ukraine (SGCU) to advise and methodological support exploration, mining, processing plants and other specialized organizations, operators decorative stones according to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 07.09.93 № 713 "On creation SGCU Ukraine". The findings of the research will be published in the scientific periodical.
