The subject of the research - is the methodology of constant using and preservation of biodiversity of ponds and marshes in Podillya region. The object of the research - is the biodiversity of riverborder , aqueous and marsh ecosystems and biotopes of Podillya. The main tasks: to fulfill the ecological analysis of modern condition of aquatic environment of ponds and marshes, exsiccation, irrigation of Podillya region; to characterize the biodiversity of riverside riverborder and aqueous ecosystems; to define modern directions of aqueous and marsh ecosystems resources using (fish farming, recreation, mowing); to develop the technology of balanced using of bioresources, preservation of biodiversity; to develop models of ecosystems with a predictive result; to develop program of target monitoring of surface water (condition, dynamics of quality index changing, defining of pollution sources etc.) with taking into consideration the researched features of hydrological condition and hydrochemical features; to develop the substantiation report for establishing of wetland of state value. The complex research of landscapes, flora and vegetation, fauna of riverborder ) and aqueous ecosystems within Podillya region was carried out for the first time. 135 expeditionary trips for researching the artificial ponds, meadows and marshes in basins of Dnister, Southern Buh, Dnipro, Western Buh rivers within Vinnytsya, Khmelnytskiy and Ternopil regions were carried out. For faunistic evaluations the literary sources and collections of the following museums were studied: State museum of natural history of NAS of Ukraine, Zoological museum of I. Franko LNU, Khmelnytskiy museum of regional ethnography and other. The registration of wethland birds quantity on marshes and ponds is made. Also the research of faunistic composition of insects within the researched object was carried out. While the period of expeditions to receive the ichthyological data more than 100 ponds of different character were analyzed: the fish farming ponds, rivers, swamped areas of ponds and rivers, former riverbeds, water meadows, water-storage basins. The list of ichthyfauna is made, the negative factors, which impact the ichthyfauna are analyzed, the acclimatized. For floristic evaluation the herbariums of Kamyanets-Podilskiy botanic garden, of NNP "Podilski Tovtry", of natural reserve "Medobory", of Khmelnytskiy museum of regional ethnography were studied. Around 154 herbarium examples were collected. We carried out and developed 42 phytocenological descriptions. The coenotic fund was developed. We researched 32 artificial water basins - ponds, formed on rivers and springs, 18 marshes, more than 20 rivers and we described their floristic and coenotic content. Floristic researches were directed on defining of rare anf typical groupings. The processes of invasive species penetration into wethland were researched. The peculiarities of ecosystems using for grazing and haying were defined. The classification scheme of biotopes was specified and composed for the first time in Podillya region, the rare biotopes were defined according to the Directive 96/43.
