The subject of investigation was the metal of steel-ingot section cut out during planned-preventive maintenance from welded joint N 111 of branch pipe welding to collector of steam generator. Microstructure of the metal of welded joint is determined by metallographic methods. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of structure components of metal is performed. The presence of microcracks, of voids and of non-metallic inclusions was discovered. The change of metal microhardness is studied from joint root to its external surface. By the method of thermal desorption mass-spectrometry the relation between structure features and hydrogen content of metal is established. It is shown that in the area of joint root the amount of accumulated hydrogen is in three times higher than in other sections of the metal of welded joint.. Analysis of evolution of stress fields for non continuities of the zone WJ N11 of the unit of collector welding to branch pipe Du 1200 of steam generator PGV-100M for regimes with critical loading is carried out. The distributions of stresses and deformations for each defected structure of the area of welded joint and surrounding area are obtained allowing for temperature distribution, characteristic of each regime or process. Distribution of stressed-deformed state of defected structure of zone WJ N111 during transition from nominal regime of operation to regimes with critical loadings is studied allowing for distribution of temperatures.
