The goal of the research - identification, fixation and scientific study of traditional folk culture objects and phenomena of Rivne region localities, collecting materials through the thematic directions of researches in the field of ethnology, art criticism, philology, etc.; formation of the multidisciplinary scientific-informational fund on ethno-cultural heritage of the affected districts. This fund will be a source base for the further development of the ethnographic science and social-cultural rehabilitation of the affected residents of Ukrainian Polissia. The research methods - field collection of the ethnographic, folk, art history and linguistic information (researches carried out among residents of the region for the purpose of primary collection of ethnographic, folk, art history and linguistic information concerning certain structural components of traditional-household culture and their functioning as a separate system), in particular, questioning (work with a reasonably chosen informant or informants in the ethnic community), observation (a thorough study and fixation of the entire complex of culture and household peculiar characteristics), interview (personal conversation between researcher and informant - may be formalized (with the help of preliminarily compiled questionnaire), half-formalized and the open conversation including preliminarily intended main conversational subjects only), audio-, photo-, video fixation, analytical description. In 2013, researchers carried out complex historical-ethnographic expedition. During the expedition, they explored 25 localities, interviewed over 1170 respondents, recorded 400 hours of audio and 45 hours of video data; certificated 9293 photos; performed 14 drawings of architectural structures and 48 drawings of residential and household buildings that characterize life and household of population of the explored district. In addition, final scientific report (21 analytical reviews by the research thematic directions) was prepared. Obtained results of the research will be used during formation of the scientific-informational fund of the ethno-cultural heritage of Ukrainian Polissia affected territories.
